Volunteers

We are so blessed at Trinity to have such a wonderful and supportive school family. We rely on them to be our volunteer force. Simply doing background checks does not meet the definition of “due diligence”, Trinity also requires MinistrySafe online training. We strive to keep our kids safe. Thank you for your willingness to serve our kids and our school!

NEW THIS SCHOOL YEAR: 
Online training must be completed annually per our liability insurance.
Ministry Safe video training is $8.
Background Checks are approved for 2 years from approval date.*
Ministry Safe background checks are $12.
 

New Volunteers

  1. Complete the Volunteer Application & Background Check Authorization
  2. You will receive an email directly from MinistrySafe to complete your annual online training. 
    The video training is very specific about caring for our kids and keeping them safe from child predators. It is 60 minutes in length, divided into 9 sections. Upon completion of your training, MinistrySafe will notify us.
  3. You will receive 2 more emails from MinistrySafe.
    One to pay for a background check    *, and one to complete the background check form directly through MinsitrySafe.
Once a volunteer completes the volunteer application, MinistrySafe training, submits the required documents, and clears the background check*, they will be added to our approved volunteer list. To be an approved driver for field trips (Grades K-8), you must also submit a copy of your auto insurance card, regardless of who you are taking in your car. 
 

Volunteer Renewal Process

  1. Complete the Volunteer Application & Background Check Authorization
  2. You will receive an email directly from MinistrySafe to complete your annual online training.

  3. If it is time to renew your background check, you will receive 2 more emails from MinistrySafe.
    One to pay for a background check    *, and one to complete the background check form directly through MinsitrySafe.

*Background check is waived if you provide a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
