The Preschool Prep Class is designed for parents who desire a preschool program with structured activities for their child who is two years of age by September 1. Children will be nourished spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. They will learn through play and interacting with those around them. Children will have Bible story time each day. Music and movement will also be part of their daily schedule. Classes are available 2, 3 or 5 days a week.

• Children are prepared for their life long walk with Jesus

• Learn to follow simple directions
• Know their names and the names of other significant people
• Enjoy telling about colors, shapes and numbers
• Learn at their own pace and through their senses
• Learn through exploration and experimentation
• Learn to have a general sense about the world even though they may lack the verbal skills to express it in words

• Interact and talk with others on a one-to-one basis and show interest in playing with others
• Use their words to express their needs

• Be encouraged to run, jump, hop, and play
• Develop large and small motor skills and demonstrate greater dexterity when using small manipulatives

• Hands-on learning through smart board science activities, and small group activities

• Promote self confidence, while developing self-control, social skills and responsibility.
